CafeMedia is excited to launch a new program this week designed to provide resources and coaching to dynamic BIPOC creators. Remarkable Voices supports successful creators who want to operationalize their digital strategy, scale their audience and leverage their ability to monetize their work at substantial levels on the open web.

The inaugural class of Remarkable Voices includes 12 creators with a diverse range of expertise and audiences, from financial advisors (Tiffany AlicheTonya Rapley) and culture commentators ( Freddy Rodriguez, and Willie Greene) to lifestyle experts specializing in beauty/fashion (Kia Marie) food (Jenné Claiborne), fashion ( Jerome LaMaarSummer Albarcha), travel (Olivia LopezJessica Nabongo), parenting (Tomi Akitunde) and education (Corinne Rice-Grey Cloud).

As a company whose mission is to build a creator-first future for the open web, we have a unique window into the financial underpinnings of the creator economy, and a review of the industry revealed that far too few of the most financially successful creators are BIPOC, highlighting the need for this kind of program. We believe that all creators of quality content should have the ability to get the most value from their hard work, and we are committed to using our platform, our knowledge and experience to help ensure that BIPOC creators have equal representation in the open web’s bright future.

“At CafeMedia, we believe providing creators with the tools they need to build successful businesses will lead to a richer, more vibrant and diverse internet and global community. But the promise of the open web is muted when these opportunities are not equally available to all. We hope that these talented creators can benefit from more robust support and that this program will enable them to take their businesses and monetization to the next level.”

Michael Sanchez, CEO of CafeMedia.

The pilot session of Remarkable Voices will last for eight weeks and includes a core digital skill-building curriculum and strategic and business development support, along with inspirational speakers, a vibrant community and one-on-one mentorships from industry leaders and renowned creator peers.
